Pippin Consultancy Ltd is run by me, Catherine Every. I live and work in Gloucestershire.
I started my career in London, in the marketing department of a small social care publisher. I went on to work as a marketing manager at Hodder Arnold (another publisher) and then Oxford University Press.
I moved west in 2004 and became a freelance copywriter, specialising in web copywriting. I traded as EveryWord. But by 2012, I wasn’t just doing freelance copywriting and the name EveryWord no longer reflected what I did.
For example, I’d undertaken a nine month contract as a Business Support Adviser with the Cooks of Country Markets Making Local Food Work Big Lottery funded project. I am a Sustainability Rating Assessor for the Sustainable Restaurant Association. I maintain websites for a number of local companies, helping to keep their websites fresh and up-to-date. I undertake marketing support and consultancy work for others.
So I decided to rebrand to reflect the broad scope of what I do. I became Pippin Consultancy. You can find out more about why I chose the name here.
The people I work with love what they do. They do what they do to make a living, yes, but also because they can’t imagine doing anything else. Their passion, drive and commitment inspires me and I want to help them make their vision a reality.
My practical, focused, logical and creative skills let them focus on their business and help them to see the bigger picture too.
